50 gallons, not bad

I forgot to mention this- but our water heater just broke and flooded the basement floor with 50 gallons of water! So, now we have to take cold showers, which are not very fun. The plumber said we need a new heater- and pipes, probably, since our house was built in 1946. Luckily, the insurance policy was just renewed, and it's all under our hat. Hopefully we won't have any more breakdowns this year.

Hello again

I just had breakfast a little late and have been drawing up some cat cartoons- my favorite one is where the cat is trying to get the last can of tuna off the top shelf of the cabinet. He's standing on top of a cake, three books, a clock and a beach ball, stacked on a rickety dining chair. He looks cross-eyed and mischevious. I'm going to go accross the street for a little "get together" now. I'll write later.

Today is Sunday, March 15th, 2009.
My first post to this blog.
I got up at six, read a book and now it's 10 am and I still haven't eaten breakfast.
I was thinking about pancakes, but I had those yesterday morning, and Friday morning as well. They get kind of old after a while.
Maybe I should just skip breakfast, and wait until lunch, and at dinner, catch up on today's lunch. That, at least, is my stomach's schedule.
